# Remove-SnipeitAsset

## SYNOPSIS
Removes Asset from Snipe-it asset system

## SYNTAX

```
Remove-SnipeitAsset [-id] <Int32[]> [-URL] <String> [-APIKey] <String> [-WhatIf] [-Confirm]
 [<CommonParameters>]
```

## DESCRIPTION
Removes asset or multiple assets from Snipe-it asset system

## EXAMPLES

### EXAMPLE 1
```
Remove-SnipeitAsset -ID 44 -Verbose
```

### EXAMPLE 2
```
Get-SnipeitAsset -serial 123456789  | Remove-SnipeitAsset
```

## PARAMETERS

### -APIKey
User's API Key for Snipeit, can be set using Set-SnipeitInfo command

```yaml

Accept wildcard characters: False
```

### -id
Unique ID For Asset to be removed

```yaml
Type: Int32[]

Accept wildcard characters: False
```

### -URL
URL of Snipeit system, can be set using Set-SnipeitInfo command

```yaml

Accept pipeline input: False
Accept wildcard characters: False
```

### -Confirm
Prompts you for confirmation before running the cmdlet.

```yaml
Type: SwitchParameter
Parameter Sets: (All)

Position: Named

Accept pipeline input: False
Accept wildcard characters: False
```

### -WhatIf
Shows what would happen if the cmdlet runs.
The cmdlet is not run.

```yaml

```
