# Remove-SnipeitDepartment

## SYNOPSIS
Removes department from Snipe-it asset system

## SYNTAX

```
Remove-SnipeitDepartment [-id] <Int32[]> [-URL] <String> [-APIKey] <String> [-WhatIf] [-Confirm]
 [<CommonParameters>]
```

## DESCRIPTION
Removes department or multiple departments from Snipe-it asset system

## EXAMPLES

### -APIKey
User's API Key for Snipeit, can be set using Set-SnipeitInfo command

### -id
Unique ID For department to be removed

### -URL
URL of Snipeit system, can be set using Set-SnipeitInfo command

### -Confirm
Prompts you for confirmation before running the cmdlet.

```yaml

### -WhatIf
Shows what would happen if the cmdlet runs.
The cmdlet is not run.
